Brett and I have been emailing back and forth for several month trying to figure out their elopement details, there has been a lot going on in the world so it was hard to see what the future had in store for us. But as July got closer we were able to plan out their perfect elopement. Brett and Emilia traveled all the way to Montana from Mississippi to get married in Glacier Nation Park with their closest friends and family. They have been wanting to visit Glacier National Park for some time now. I was so excited to meet them and capture their special day for them.

We met up in West Glacier National Park to do their first look. We took a little trail along the river where the went many individuals at so that they could enjoy their first look together without an audience around. They arrived a few days pior to their wedding day to take in all of West Glacier National Park and get some hiking in with their friends and family. First looks are a very intimate moment between the couples where its just them soaking up the moment before they say their I do’s. It is always fun to watch what each others reactions are to seeing their significant other for the first time on their wedding day. After they had their time together we started back down the trail to our cars to drive up Going to the Sun Road.

As we drove up the mountain it was such a perfect day, there were scattered clouds within the blue sky. I do not know if you have ever been to Big Bend in Glacier National Park before but it has one of the most epic views in the whole park. The mountains are unreal with that big Montana sky. My couple was pretty excited when we arrived. We all walked down the trail that led to the big rock that they wanted to say their I Do’s at. Their ceremony was so beautiful, very inmate and personal.

We could not have asked for a better evening to have their wedding at BIg Bend, the weather was perfect and the mountains around us were spectacular. After they exchanged their vows, we took all the photos that they wanted to have to remember their speical day. Brett and Emilia were so nice and welcoming to me and my second shooter. We had cotton candy clouds that evening as well as the sun was setting over the mountain tops, what is better than that for sunset photos! I loved being able to spend the day with them and not only get to know them but their family as well. After the photos were done they invited me to have charcuterie Boards and dessert with them on Going to the Sun Road as a final celebration of the day. I have to tell you that these charcuterie boards were so beautifully put together and delicious. It is truly something to be apart of a couples elopement day.
